I had a great week off!

On Monday we went to Flamingo Land with my mum. I bought a new camera but unfortunately the battery wasn't very charged so I only took a few pictures and videos before the battery died. They are on my facebook and youtube if anyone has those.

On Wednesday I went to Bridlington with my dad. I went on a speedboat ride, it was very good! And we went around the arcades, ate in a lovely restaurant and went on a rollercoaster simulator.

On Thursday we went to see Terminator Salvation, it was AWESOME! There's lots of twists in the plot and some big surprises!

I've found some playing fields to take the dog to within walking distance - it's good because I was getting bored with taking him up and down the streets. It's right on the outskirts of Hull, and people even take their ponies there to ride them, that's how large the field is.

I'm trying to organise a fur meet at Flamingo Land on the first weekend of September if anyone wants to go. It will be camping at a nearby campsite (Flamingo Land itself has too many strict rules about noise and groups) and it will be for the weekend. It's subject to change, check UKfur for details or you can just ask me. It's in the very early planning stages.

I'm not experienced in organising events at all so I think I might ask the folks at UKfur to help. They've just had a successful Alton Towers camping weekend so there's probably better people than me out there who can get their head around it, because I can't.
